A nice stay, but bring your own transport

Varee Valley has a beautiful riverside location and a wide array of guest facilities, including conference and a beautiful dining terrace. The area certainly has a potential for mosquitoes, but the beds are attractively furnished with nets, so you need not fear. I was there in the rainy season but escaped unscathed. My major complaint was that the location was well outside of town, and there was a nice rack of rental bikes, but when I tried to borrow one I was told without explanation that they were not available. Because of this I had to do some major hiking even to get to a seven-eleven.

Rural location
The hotel is arguably as good as you will get in this area. Rooms are basic but generally clean. There were a number of insects in the room but this is a hotel in rural Thailand next to a river!! One... อ่านต่อ

Worth every penny
On the river bank. Very nice views. Air con was a godsend and the staff were brilliant. Would definitely go back.

Unexpected resort
Our bungalow over looked the river and had a out door table and chair in front of the room under the trees. Very peacefull surroundings. The restaurant food was very tasty. Breakfast was fine however ... อ่านต่อ
