Home away from home! :)
I found this lovely and very interesting hostel while browsing the net looking for a place to stay for our week long vacation in Bangkok. And I'm proud to say that I've made the right choice. :) The location of the hostel for me is very strategic as it is only a few minutes’ walk from the busy and noisy Khaosan Road and other tourist area like the Grand Palace, Wat Arun Temple, the Golden Mount and others.
We occupied 5 beds of the six-person room. The room itself is a bit small. But the beds are huge, comfy and clean, and I also love the 2 soft pillows that were provided. Each bed has a curtain for privacy, small personal storage, and personal light and electric plug. The usb plug is a plus point also. There are 2 air-condition in our room so there is no problem with temp at night. Towels are also provided. There is a separate, clean and well maintained bathroom for male and female. The dining/common area is spacious and has an interesting interior. The plated breakfast consists of 2 eggs, toasts and shredded cabbage for salad. Fresh fruits, coffee and tea are also provided. My only wish is that they also serve lunch and dinner. Bottled water and other drinks are provided at the lobby with a small fee. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly and speak English well. As for the shoes, we carried them to our room. All in all, we had a great time at Here Hostel. Will definitely recommend it to friends and other travellers.
