Best Stay Ever!
This was easily one of the nicest places I've ever stayed (and I've traveled to over 30 countries). The owners went so far out of their way to be helpful, and the property is lovely! At first I was worried that the Mae Rim area was too far outside of Chiang Mai. It turned out that a lot of the activities we wanted to do were within minutes of the resort. We got a car one day (booked for us by the owners) and biked (with their free bicycles) another two days to various spots including the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, the Botanical Gardens, the Insect Museum, the Elephant Poo Poo Paper Park, a restaurant overlooking a waterfall and more! Everything in the resort is impeccably maintained. The pool is crystal clear, and there are orchids everywhere. Massages can be set up (I did one per day) at an extremely reasonable cost right at their outdoor massage area or in your room. Most of the produce for the kitchen is grown on property, so you may want to take the time to wander their garden. All in all, I could have stayed for weeks and never wanted to leave!
