Recommended to stay if you have your own transport. location is great, along the way to mae sa valley, slightly elevated above sea level, so weather is cooler than chiang mai city.
Great as a place to stay as a starting spot to explore the areas of mae sa valley, mon cham and beyond. lots of activites nearby the hotel to fill your day before/after/during the excursions out, such as shooting range, ATV, the elephant and tiger camps.
check-in was done by the owner, a Dutch guy, who was welcoming and friendly. asked about our upcoming schedule during our stay here and offered tips and advice.
breakfast was ok, ala carte style with 1 set per person. but it is very slow, go to the restaurant 15minutes earlier so you wont be late for your schedule.
Rooms were nice, a building for your own. spacious and clean. Was excited to see a rain shower, but was disappointed that the pressure was low, so just used the regular shower head.
Will definitely stay again if in this area.
