Amara Hotel- new and spacious

Since this was a new hotel in the Silom area I thought I would try it out. Everything was new but it seemed to lack character. Rooms were very spacious (plenty of closet space), enjoyed the ceiling-rain shower in the spacious bathroom... but it seemed to have a budget/spartan feeling to it than a ambiance of comfort and luxury. Staff was helpful but it would be nice to hire a more seasoned staff. Like the comments in other reviews, the room service was poor in food quality. (My fried eggs were cold, I asked for crispy bacon and the cold bacon looked like it came from the morning buffet including the staled croissant. (not up to standards of other hotels) I went to the basement restaurant one evening to have a quick meal and the ventilation was very poor that I decided to eat somewhere along the street. (smell of grease) After my three days there, I moved to my favorite 5 star hotel, the Crown Plaza- big difference in quality

good cost for money
Room ready at 2pm but cant eat if you passed 5 minutes the dinner time. People are kind but the hotel is a nice classical modern hotel without anything special. Good for the price if you have discount... อ่านต่อ

Modern meet comfortable
