Shewe Wana Boutique Resort & Spa

We were a group of 3 couples spending a few days in Chiang Mai at this resort. The rooms were on two levels within a small courtyard with a jungle theme. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained, although the downstairs rooms were a bit cramped and dark. The breakfast was good with a reasonable range of choices for such a small resort. There was also a small swimming pool within the courtyard, but it looked like an afterthought (what can we do with this space?), and was not inviting. The location was good, on a main road with plenty of passing taxis, and it was a 5-minute walk from some of the best restaurants on the riverside. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would have no problems with staying here again.
