Shewe Wana Hotel Chiang Mai

Another boutique treasure. We got to meet the owner who is both friendly and passionate about her hotel. She showed us around the suites which are absolutely fabulous. Had we known about them before booking we would undoubtedly stayed there. Each block of suites has its own different garden, each designed by Joy the owner. Suites have 2 bedrooms and a large lounge and kitchen area. Our own room was, nevertheless, beautiful with tasteful decor. Staff were extremely helpful even to the extent of giving us a demo m/c ride! Breakfasts were good value consisting of fruit, cereal, european and Thai dishes. We had a most enjoyable stay and were sad to leave. Chiang Mai is a great location and well worth spending a few extra days to take in all that is on offer.

Really lovely stay
Beautiful place, staff fantastic. Only slight down side was that the pool was absolutely freezing, although other people didn't seem to mind so that may just have been me!
