Wonderful space to relax

We had a very relaxing week at Samui Sense. The reception staff are extremely friendly. They are helpful and always smiling. We had an early checkout and it was smooth and pleasant. We didn't really see this kind of helpfulness in the rest of Thailand in this type of hotel. Huge plus. Our safe broke during the week we stayed there and it was replaced immediately. The maintenance also replaced a light with an apology that we didn't even realise was out.It is in a nice area surrounded with good restaurants and bars. The pool area is wonderful and it was the best swimming we had in the ocean even though the water gets dirty in the afternoons. Why I don't know. The breakfast is pretty standard. They do serve good fruit. We loved our room and would definitely stay here again, but they should fix the shower's head, water pressure, heating. A better shower would make for a better stay. I would also suggest putting mosquito nets In the room or at least those electric bats because there are loads lurking in the hallways. Overall this is a nice older hotel and it is good quality for the price.

Quiet and great location on the beach, small rooms
