disgusting smell in rooms

this was likely a very nice resort 10 or more years ago with rooms that are very large (we stayed in a deluxe suite) and well furnished. however, there is some problem with the building or air conditioning system and the room we were given had a smell that was revolting. it was like being in a mouldy underground drain. we asked to be moved to another room the next day (which they immediately agreed to). this room smelt better but only because they covered up the problem with perfume or something similar. once that wore off this room smelt disgusting as well. they have a serious problem at this hotel and should not be letting people stay in these rooms until they get it fixed. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they get the problem rectified.

Great location but small rooms

Not bad but a little pricey
