I was disappointed in this hotel. It is an old building which they have renovated, but poorly. The pool and restaurant area look good. The rooms are ok to look at but not a great renovation. The biggest issue for me is that all the outside aircon compressor units for the rooms are outside the windows, but the windows are flimsy and the bathroom window is open. So the noise from the aircons is loud, and there is vibration in the walls. I wore earplugs and still it bothered me. They need to buy quieter units, or re-locate them to the roof. If you are ok with noise then not a problem.
The other lesser problem is the bathroom is less than 2 square metres in area, smallest I have ever seen in a hotel room.
I asked for a double room and got 2 single beds. One had springs poking into my back. The other was hard. They need to get new mattresses.
Shower went from cold to hot, low to high pressure. Annoying and difficult to use.
Other minor issues - hard pillows, no safe, only 2 hanger
