Internet was terrible, noisy Chinese
Well, I am IT so I know when I say they did something deliberately to disconnect the internet every 10 seconds or so to stop any streaming, p2p connection or Skype/face time etc. - normal ADSL provider does not do this permanently. So if you plan to do anything on the internet, except checking a few pages or maybe email, forget it, even that would be frustrating. I did mentioned it to them, but nothing was done after a few days.
Another issue is security, there is no wall or fence or anything there, and everybody shut office and go home or sleep at night, no security guard in site, there is no safety deposit box in the rooms, seems no security - even for your bike or car out there, on the open.
No English channel whatsoever on TV, only 9 channels, Thais and I think two Chinese and that is it, not a single English channel or any other languages.
At midnight bus load of Chinese come and leave before light.. !?! Make a lot of noise and don't even sleep the few hours there, not sure what that is about.
Saying that, it was the low season (late May), so very quiet and lax. Other things all work fine, good A/C, all modern stuff, large TV, beds, kettle, hair dryer, bathroom/shower etc. , pool is okay too.
