Simple Homestay style hotel
Booked 2 separate night with the hotel. The location was great and Check-in was easy. The owners were there personally to receive me on my approval and shared some places of interest that I can visit. Actually, thought the bosses looked like some Thai celebrities. :)
The room was simple, but yet tastefully designed and comfortable. There was also a common area, on level 2 for guests to hangout and mingle.
Breakfast was not included, but the café next door provided great options. Their western breakfast was simply amazing. Understand that the café was related to the hotel as well.
The 2 negative feedbacks I do have were:
1) The stairs were very steep between level 3 & 4. If you are travelling with a heavy luggage, it might be a challenge. I actually repacked my luggage and brought it down first to save me the trouble.
2) Most local red-taxi drivers don't speak English. I had trouble getting taxi outside the hotel. The morning counter staff wasn't too helpful (The evening staff was of great help though) when I asked if he can help me get a taxi since I don't speak Thai.
