The hotel has 2 buildings, the main one is on the main road and has a 7-11 next door and opposite, really convenient. But we were checked in to the 2nd building, which is quite far from the main one (by foot). My friend and I booked the hotel because of its amenities (7-11) but ended up at the secondary building which is tucked in a small somewhat dodgy street and to get to the nearest 7-11 requires you to walk out of the dodgy street first. Even though buggy service is provided between the two buildings, it is generally inconvenient. We were quite upset at the fact that this was not brought up to our attention during booking (that they have two buildings) and we only found out during check-in. We booked this hotel mainly for its convenience and access to 7-11 so we were greatly disappointed.
There was also a cigarette burn mark on the room floor, even though we booked a non-smoking room. The first night we showered in cold water because we thought the shower did not have hot water access, but turns out actually they installed the tap the wrong way (it indicated left for hot water, and when we turned left the water only became slightly less cold so we thought the heater wasn’t working really well). We didn’t think it would be the other way round because the wash basin tap is the same (left for hot water) and it works (hot water available for the wash basin).
The TV guide provided was also not accurate; some of the tv channels were not the same as the list provided. It’s a satellite tv network with lots of channels and programs but they only provided a list of about 15 channels, which is a waste because we could’ve enjoyed the tv content better if we were provided with the full channel list. There were 700+ channels so it would take too long to scroll through everything.
Housekeeping did not replenish the toilet paper after the first night (we were more than halfway through with the roll), and they did not leave any spares in the bathroom for us either. When we fi
