Beautiful Resort / Food Hit or Miss

The hotel was beautiful! The staff was excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us a free upgrade because there were very few travelers there. We stayed in a villa and it was very comfortable, the AC was excellent and they gave us 2 free water bottles each day. They offer free kayak and bike rentals and you can rent a scooter for 350THB for a whole day. The food was hit or miss though. Some meals our food would be very good, hot and taste fresh. Other meals would be luke warm and not taste as fresh. My boyfriend actually got very bad food poisoning our last night there. Terrible timing because he was vomiting and had fevers on and off all night and we had to leave at 8 am. Don’t get the fish and chips or the Caesar salad, they are not good. We had been eating Thai food for the last couple weeks and were craving American food but it was a big mistake. The salad was disgusting, just terrible...and the fish and chips portion was meant for a child.
