Old favourite

This was our third stay at Rimping Village in, I guess, 10 years. It's as good as ever, peaceful and relaxing yet only a short walk from the Night Market mayhem. There are minor drawbacks - like a fresh wifi login each time you want to check your email - but they're trivial compared to the warmth of the welcome. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is fine if you're into cakes and croissants, not so good if you prefer wholemeal bread, but the fruit is good and they cook a mean chili omelette. Coffee, from a push-button Nestle machine, is poor. We skip it and head to the coffee shop at Rimping Supermarket instead.
