lovely hotel, but room below standard for price

Rimping is a lovely hotel that I recommend overall. Staff performance is among the best I've had in many dozens of hotels stays in Bangkok. The location is fairly central but a little too far to easily walk to downtown, though you can walk to the night market area. Nice pool that no one was using during the cold season but would be nice in summer. Breakfast is well above average for a hotel of this price range.
Complaints: bed is below standard and shower is warm but not hot. Rimping, buy some quality mattresses and install proper hot water if you want to maintain your ratings!
