M2 Hotel in Phayao

The M2 Hotel is brand new and at a good location in the city. The TV channels are all in Thai. We were visiting family and stopped to enjoy the lake area before heading home in our car. They have a few parking spaces, but I don't see that as a problem - not a big tourist area. The free breakfast was next door with a limited menu of items to order, but it was all hot & fresh! The area is clean and quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Definitely would stay here again.

Great staff, modern comforts

Small room
Two single beds were crammed into the corner, so that one sleeper had to leave the bed over the feet side. Not much space besides that. Breakfast okay if ordering Thai food, American B'fast a joke, 1 ... อ่านต่อ

Hotel seemed to have dropped in maintenance standard since its opening
Rooms are not as clean as before. Could find strands of hair on floor and toilet. No Toilet roll given, requested at Lobby personally (cos no room phone) and had to go down 3 levels (cos no lift), but... อ่านต่อ
