Beautiful Resort In A Tough Location

Islanda Hideaway Resort is a beautiful resort south of Ao Nang Beach. The bungalows are awesome and the view of the ones on the private beach are incredible. The staff is extremely helpful, dedicated, and accommodating.
This is a great resort if you're looking to just hangout at the resort and not do much exploring. If you're looking to go to Ao Nang Beach and or Krabi, the location of Islanda Hideaway Resort makes the adventures a bit more difficult.
To go into town you'll have a befriend a local who will take you from the resort to the pier on their Tuk Tuk, then hire a boat to take you across the Krabi River, then take a Taxi from the pier to Ao Nang Beach. All this costs around 900 Baht each way. Doing it day after day can add up. The locals won't want to bring you back past 10pm so forget about it if you want to spend a night out in the Ao Nang Beach area.
