The best kept secret in Thailand

the islanda is a very well thought out and presented gem. this is not the place to go if you want to bar hop or succumb to the pedlars on the white sand beaches. if you like to feel removed from the rigours of daily life and still be pampered this is the place for you. the beach, while not white sand,is at least a kilometer long and you are the only ones (except for the fishermen) on it!the swimming pool is exceptional and looks over the beach. the staff are exceedingly friendly and you can get anything you want (including an outstanding massage)if you ask a day ahead. pretty much the best holiday we have ever had!!!!

Lovely rooms, excellent food, but not nicest beach
