2nd time back
It was our 2nd time back to 'Outrigger' July 2010. Last time we were in a 3 bedroom villa Feb 2010. We decided to try a four bed as the back gardens are bigger and the pool. We have a 11 year old and a 9 year old. Great for relaxing. There is a shuttle bus that comes by every 1/2 hour to take you to the Laguna Village. You feel completely safe. Staff are very happy.
The only problem we had, which was out of the control of 'Outrigger' was an outage of power and water at 2am. We wouldn't have even known had it not got so hot. It was soon back on. As the air con is very good, it didn't take long for the villa to get comfortable again.
This time of year, it is there low season, so we did notice a difference regarding the beach. It didn't seem as clean as last time, there was no massage and the shop/tour was not open (you can book your tours at the reception). You do have to watch kids on the beach (not that your wouldn't) but the waves are a lot rougher this time of year. In February, they were lovely and calm. We decided not to scuba this time round.
We are going back to Laguna a 3rd time (Oct 2010), but trying somewhere different. This is no reflection of 'Outrigger', but don't think we could eat of the same menu 3 times in one year!! And I don't cook on holidays :-))
