Love this place

I've done many film shoots in Bangkok and I always try to stay here. Yes, there are higher class hotels. Yes, I know this is mid-range and not super luxury. And, yes, I know there are better breakfasts in other places. But I love this place. The staff are so nice. The rooms I've stayed in (usually 601, 501 or 301) are all really big, have lovely beds and a balcony – to me so important to be able to have some outside space. I haven't ever quite got around to swimming in the pool but it always looks clean and inviting. I think it's reasonably priced for what you get in terms of kitchen, washing machine, large bathroom and sofa. But mainly it's the spacious rooms and lovely staff that win me over every time I'm there.

Pleasant stay at Oakwood Residence
