Oakwood Residence Review

We stayed at the Oakwood Residence - Soi 24 - with our 19 year old daughter, taking two rooms. When we checked our daughter was given a bigger room than ours (we didn't know until we reached the room) and she was staying alone. As the staff know the dimensions and layout of the rooms, we suggest that they assign a single traveller a smaller room. Looks like they just lacked judgment on that one. We do not like having to pay extra for internet access and feel that hotels like this should provide free wifi. The breakfast was very nice, the staff were charming and the ambience was much nicer than many hotels of a similar range.
The pool is very small but the area on the roof has the potential to be developed into a nice garden area. They have already started that and it was nice to see some little birds trying to survive life in downtown Bangkok in that area!
