Beautiful but remote

Great spot to enjoy the views over the water, but even with a complimentary shuttle this is remote by Samui standards. Good for a day or two. On site restaurant serves fine Asian/Western mix for breakfast but dinner is limited. Shuttle down very steep road to a couple of local options is easy to take advantage of, but this is beyond Chaweng Beach area. Rooms are outstanding however, and service staff is exceptional! Be aware local taxis do NOT service this hotel presumably due to its very steep access road. Hotel provides its own complimentary airport service.
