Charming little Thai village

I was travelling with my mom so I made a request in advance to give me a ground-floor room facing the pool. They were very quick to respond to my query and confirm availability. They were also helpful in arranging our transportation and tours, although the staff needs to be trained better on this (there is only 1 tour conceirge who is very knowledgeable about this, but goes home after 4pm).
The location was also very convenient. It's in the middle of Chiang Mai that's close to the walled city, night bazaar, Warorot market and the main road. Comfort and space are also a big factor, but airconditioning needs to be repaired. And lastly, I loved the overall style of Banthai. It's very Thai, sleek, well-appointed furnitures and breezy despite the humid weather.
