Traditional Thai Stay in Old Town
We spent 6 nights at the Pingmanim hotel and it was a comfortable enjoyable stay.
The hotel is designed in a traditional Thai layout with fabulous teak carvings and teak wood everywhere. The room we had was extremely spacious with everything you required to make your time at the hotel very comfortable.
The pool was lovely with plenty of pool side chairs and cushions. Say a and showers readily accessible.
The staff were attentive and unobtrusive, always happy to help. May in the restaurant was delightful.
The tour guide Pip arranged our yours and even took me on the back of her moped to the Elephant Sanctuary main office to book and pay for our trip as we were unable to book via her directly.
The breakfast each day was plentiful, varied and tasty. The fresh fruit was carved ......amazing.
Each day you were supplied with 4 bottles of water. In the evening you could access food, which although reasonably priced was more expensive than local restaurants or street stalls.
We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to our friends and family.
