Really beautiful island and hotel

the hotel is beautiful and the rooms very large and comfortable. the inhouse movie selection is also a treat for entertaining a 5 & & year old in the evening. the view and location is stunning and there are great local restaurants along the beach so that you have lots of options.
i spent the first half of the week in koh samui and rate this island much more than koh samui and it is much more beautiful and less built up. i would come again except that the sea water really was awful. i didnt swim in the sea once as there were plastics bags, bottles etc everywhere and all over the beach. there is a construction site next to the hotel and i guess debris is getting putting in the water. also there is a small river that flows in the beach closeby and this makes the water less than pristine. its such a shame as i really loved the hotel.
