Excellent vacation

My stay was excellent. Staff could be a little more helpful. Taxis run for 400-500 baht in one direction (there are no meters inside the taxis, it is a fixed rate) From the 400-500 baht, the hotel will get 100-200 and the rest will go to the driver. It is best to get the taxi yourself, find someone who is willing to drive you for 300, get their number and make them your driver for around the island.
The same thing goes for the activities. If you purchase something on your own, you will get almost half of the price that the hotel is offering. The room was excellent. Bathroom was superb. Staff doesn't speak English well and this is a problem most of the time. Prices in the restaurant were relatively cheap. Coconut milk is about 50 baht, a fresh goes for around 100 baht.
