Location and Food were great

Like many other people who reviewed this hotel, my observations were that it is really good value for money in a great location but that it's main detractors are that the furnishings, decor and carpeting have not been updated in a number of years. My wife and I had our wedding reception at this hotel 13 years before and the hotel looks unchanged since that time. It is clearly still well maintained and at least has ungraded to a flat screen TV. Bathroom facilities were great, with excellent water pressure but somewhat temperamental temperature controls. Bed was comfy and sheet were snow white. Overall a good experience

very good value hotel with quality feel and great

Old hotel in prime location, spoilt by rude staff

Surpassed expectations
