A gem in bustling sukhumvit

My first visit to this hotel as I typically stay in Conrad or Hilton during my business trips to BKK. It's located in a bustling area - sukhumvit which means challenging traffic conditions. On the positive side, it's linked to a BTS station (Asok) so traveling on the BTS is so convenient, not the same would be said of taxis. It is also linked to A large shopping centre (Terminal 21) which makes shopping very convenient.
The hotel has great big rooms, reasonable breakfast spread and fast wireless wifi. Great gym facilities too! I enjoyed my stay in the hotel vey much and would have given it a perfect score if not for the service I experienced while checking out. A staff has acknowledged my request for a taxi to the airport and had asked me to take a seat in the lobby. I was told that I would be Informed when my taxi is here. That never happened, not sure what went wrong but I waited for half an hour , asked about it several times and no one seemed to have gotten my request for a taxi. Luckily I had some slack time to get to the airport, or I might have missed my flight due to a small oversight! Though not a big deal, the small experience has caused a blemish to the great reputation of the hotel which I find a shame cos it is a great place to stay while in BKK.

A very comfortable hotel

A premium hotel in Bangkok
