great pool, traditional hotel

Love love love the Peninsula.....its rooms are great but what stands out is the service of their staff, particularly poolside. Nothing is too much trouble . The hotel is situated by the Chao praya river and the hotel offers its own river taxi to get to the other side. ....whuch has more happening. Breakfast is pricey and they have an archaic rule about men wearing singlets which I found amusing.....but not everyone did....would I return?..you betcha!
