Tongsai Bay hotel

Do not be fooled by the the pictures and advertising of this hotel as a 5 star (I have stayed in many other 5 star across the island so have means for comparison) This is NOT 5 star low 4 maybe....rooms are dated and very dark in need of refurb and not worth the money being asked per night. We were extremely disappointed and moved after one night to a different location/hotel. Location - the hotel is not close to any shops or restaurants not even a small corner shop. No shuttle buses provided and min cost for a taxi is 400 Baht one way to nearest shops/bars/restaurants. Big problem with mosquitos. Finally pool surface is rough concrete not what you would expect from hotel being advertised as 5 star.
