nice room, lovely pool, bad beach, bad buffet

The hotel is located just a 5 minute, easy walk from the main pier. If you don't have a lot of luggage consider just walking, taxis will charge you the equivalent of $10 USD for a 1 minute drive.
The hotel room and staff were great. The pool is gorgeous. Unfortunately due to the hotel's proximity to the main pier the beach next to the hotel is pretty bad. Not worth a glance. Rent a boat taxi to take you to one of the more remote beaches.
The other huge problem was the breakfast buffet. It was absolutely horrible. Based on this alone there is no way this hotel could be rated at 4 stars. I'd give it 3 stars at best. If buffet improved significantly I'd give it 4 stars.
