A Verdant Oasis in the Heart of Busy Bangkok

we stayed 4 nights at ariyasomvilla in january 2013. the hotel is difficult for taxi drivers to find, but conveniently located a short 10 minute walk from a sky train station. it is a green, verdant oasis in the heart of the city, with lush grounds and superb staff who make you feel like you are their only guests.

i like the fresh flowers everywhere, even decorating the statues on the grounds. our bath was huge, with an enormous jacuzzi tub for two and a separate large rainfall shower.

the restaurant serves delicious meals, vegetarian and seafood, no meat, which might be a problem for some. the desserts, all home made, are wonderful.
