Wonderful staff in a beautiful location
Phi Phi Natural Resort is a great place for those wanting a little bit of peace and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and the villa rooms spread out enough amongst the sprawling garden grounds that there is a fair degree of privacy. The reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff have been very helpful, friendly and hardworking.
Splash out for a delux villa if you can, amazing location right on the beach. If you go for a standard villa, rooms 123 & 124 still have a lovely view (glimpse) of the water and you will enjoy relaxing on the deck chairs on your balcony.
The private beach is a little rocky, but if you swim out to the reef edge there is a lot of tropical fish to see. As along all the beaches on Phi Phi, unfortunately there is quite a lot of damage to the reef, but still enough fish to make it an interesting swim/snorkel. If you prefer a wide sandy beach for your swim just walk the 5-10 minutes to the main Laem Tong beach (but much busier and noisier).
I found the room to be absolutely fine, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom nicely decorated. I have poor AIS phone reception (1 bar) but no problem at all with the hotel wifi (5 bars).
