Great views, nice rooms, but be prepared for some exercise ;)

Located on a (steep!) mountain side, you'll get your workout done here, walking from your bungalow to the lobby/restaurant. 10-15 minutes on the stair master (at least) 3 times a day. Amazing view over Karon beach from the restaurant that serves VERY good food and very reasonable prices. And a great breakfast buffet. This is good, as there is NOTHING here, except the hotel. The hotel is located between Karon and Patong beaches, and does not have it's own beach. The nearest 7/11 or Family Mart is about 5km away, so, prepare your shopping. Reception is understaffed, and by staff with less-than-adequate english proficiency. But, all staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff is skilled and friendly. The only "facility" here is a pool that have seen better and cleaner days. Rooms are excellent. Very nice style, good bear with large (and extra) pillows, and a large bathroom. All nice and clean.

Excellent views, well designed bingalows
