Needs more effort...

We had a bad start to our stay at the hotel; we arrived at 10.05pm due to a plane delay, no one came down to help us with our bags so I had to lug them while trying to handle two tired toddlers. We were also told that no food was available as the kitchen had closed 5 minutes ago (they couldn't do anything for our tired and hungry babies). And then the first room we were given, the aircon did not work and after insisting on trying to fix it, they eventually gave up and gave us another room. By which time it was 11.30 at night and the kids were going mad...
Aside from that, the hotel has the most magnificent gardens and pool areas, which we loved, and it is very close to stunning Karon beach, a short walk across the street.
The food is not great, breakfast is a crushing disappointment with stale pastries, cold eggs, and has the feel of a conveyor belt factory.

Everything was marginal, nothing special here
