Not as advertised

The location is OK if you want to fall into a tourist trap but not ideal if what you're after is the beautiful natural scenery Thailand has to offer.

The hotel provides 'cages' rather than three star hotel rooms as advertised; VERY basic and cheap decor which is kept clean but poorly maintained.
* mattresses are either worn out or too firm to get a good night's sleep
* two singles pushed together despite booking for a double bed
* no sheets provided, too hot to sleep under a duvet
* only two pillows provided for double bed
* no blackout curtains as per booking description
* no shower enclosure - leaves toilet seat wet
* no security for the beach wing
* paint peeling from walls
* electric sockets coming loose from walls
* WiFi slow
* no bin liner in bathroom bin on first night

Very good location
