Beautiful accommodation on a magical island
I am a solo traveller and so was a bit wary of being alone, on what seemed like more of a couples retreat island. The beauty of the island and the calming ambience that this hostel provided, more than made up for the lack of backpackers. If you need just chill out, then this is the place to be. They do not offer single bed dorms here so I got a twin pod to myself. For one person it's great, I think it would have been considerably hotter if there was another human in there with me, as there was just a fan. The hostel is a little bit further into the island, but that's still just 9 minutes to Walking Street, if you want to take a tuk tuk, even shorter! There is a common area but because I had friends at another hostel I didn't hang out here much, sometimes just to use the wifi. It remained quite empty and quiet the whole time I was there, so don't expect a party hostel! Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and v. helpful when I accidentally locked my key in my room.
