Good location but not if you want a good night's sleep

Location is good; very short walk to beach but far enough from all of the crazy bar and clubbing scene (not that this makes a difference when trying to sleep). Large room, hot water, AC all fine. Had problems with wifi that I cannot explain. Bed and pillows felt like sleeping on stacked newspapers. Despite this, the main issue with trying to sleep is the amount of screaming, shouting, and cackling coming directly from the hotel itself up until at least 2AM. I have read elsewhere that this is the staff themselves making all this noise but I cannot verify that.
