Hotel was listed as 4 star with 8.2 guest rating. The structure and facilities may have been 4 star when hotel opened, but the condition has declined.
Positives - The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Also, the convenience to the MRT station at Lad Phrao made if very easy to get around Bangkok.
Negatives - Many of the services of the hotel (restaurants, bar, cafe) were not open most of the time during our 3 day, 2 night stay.
Breakfast was very disappointing. Hotel appears to have adapted its business model for Chinese tour groups. That does not have to be a problem. Unfortunately many hotels seem to cut service & quality based on stereotype that Chinese taking tours are less discerning & have lower expectations. Bazaar management seems to have chosen to be in that category.
Big problem was that there were no shelves in the closets or drawers in room to put unpacked clothes, only hangers. Result was having to live out of suitcase, even though we had a suite.
