Beware of Mayflower Grande Hotel (new Wing)
Pros:
Good Location, near Kim Yong Market & shopping mall.
Cons:
Weak wifi connection.
We paid THB$1000 for the deposit otherwise Hotel will hold our passport.
Only 1 room card given. Requested for extra room card but rejected.
Check out time is 12 noon, but hotel staff keep chasing us to check out at 11am.
The worst to come when checking out, I was asked to pay for cracked drinking glass and loss slipper. I explained to the front desk staff that we totally did not touch/use the glass & slipper during the stay. We requested to see the manager but the staff claimed that her Manager was not around and insisted that we need to pay. I strongly believe this is the SCAM tactic since I have read same review on cracked drinking glass before. Therefore, we told the staff that we want to make police report because we very sure that not our fault. The staff returned back full amount of deposit after heard we wanted to call police.
This is very bad experience ever. Beware!
