check the hotel amenities

I was charged for a broken glass which is nicely wrapped up in hygiene plastic. I did not use any glass all throughout my stay. When check-out the front office called the housekeeping to check on the room, I was told that i have broken a glass. They insist to charge me 50 baht. I did not want to pay but my passport was hold by the front staff on the day of check in. Please whoever who wants to stay at this hotel, do check the glasses at once the moment you step into the room. Housekeeping might place a broken glass and insist that its our fault that we didn't inform the front office of the broken glass.
