An Enjoyable Stay & Excellent Breakfast
The hotel is really beautiful. The lobby itself is very impressive. And location wise it’s excellent. Near the park, good for morning jog or an evening walk. Across the park is 2 shopping mall (EmQuartier and Emporium) with many food & shopping options. Check with the staff for the shortcut to the mall. You don’t need a taxi to get there.
I just wish that the check-in process could have been better. There’s no chair and we are made to stand while waiting to be checked-in. At least a welcome drink would be a nice gesture, unless the hotel expect the check-in to be a breeze.
The room itself is spacious even for just a deluxe room. Everything was very neat and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job.
The swimming pool was great. It’s big and very well maintained. It’s especially beautiful to take a dip at night with the lights on.
They even have a sauna room and onsen (Japanese-style hot bath). It’s small but functional. Definitely must give it a try.
Breakfast at Goji Kitchen and Bar was fantastic. It’s one of the best I’ve tried in terms of variety and food standard. You can skip lunch after having this. Everything was great. Portioning was very generous. Its a pity we couldn’t try everything. Some of the portioning (a la minute noodles, viennoiseries, etc) in my opinion could be made smaller so that we can try more of everything else. Overall it’s an excellent international buffet breakfast with Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Western breakfast served.
