Terrible check in experience. Treated as a potential thief

Terrible check in experience. They asked for 2000 baht cash deposit or equivalent US $ 70 for security. I told them I can give my credit card. They didn't accept it. I had only 1000 baht cash. Just landed in BKK Kate night after almost a day flight from the US. They said only cash. Asked them where it's mentioned. They showed me a generic print out. I then handed over 100 USD and asked for 30 USD back. The guy said they don't have 30 USD. Then told them give me my money back as I was intending to go to another hotel although I paid full the shit hotel. The asshole at front desk refused giving my 100 USD back. Btw, I'm a frequent traveler. It was my 24th trip to Thailand. Looks like it will be the last one. I'm feed up with Thai cheaters. I also check my Agoda booking confirmation and Agoda website about this hotel. There is no information about the cash security payment. Shame on you.

Lovely hotel

3-5mins walk to BTS station. Spacious and clean room. Convenient location.

4 star hotel feel like a 3 star hotel
