Nice beach resort & environment but room facility can be improved

Overall the experience was nice: the staffs are really nice and helpful- I checked in at around 9:30 pm and I didn't have dinner that night. It was so late and no food was available either at the resort or the nearby area, the receptionist then offered to give me a ride to the closest 7-11. The public facilities such as pools, restaurants, beach chairs, and reception are well-equipped, and the beach is quiet and clean; however, the room facilities can be improved as there is no wifi connection in the room (stated however yes on the page), no kettle, and some rooms no hair-dryer. Bathroom looks like being covered with a little dust, and after being out all day I also encountered a group of ants around the sink. The PADI diving partner of the resort- Anti Gravity is really nice and professional, they offer timely & detailed activity consultation, pool training, and door to door pick-up service which is very important in such a long island as Koh Lanta.
