Serene environment, friendly and helpful staff

This is a good resort to stay in. Not too near the beach, but not too far either.
Pros - Absolutely fantastic environment for relaxation. Quiet and peaceful. Which is probably right, if you were into clubs and parties you'd be in Bangkok. - Very friendly and helpful staff. This, I cannot emphasise more. - Spacious restroom and tub. - Breakfast selection is not too expansive, but I liked it. - Pool was a little on the small side, but the view is great. - I felt there was not much difference between the hillside and poolside views, the poolside view in particular was not that fantastic.
If I had to nitpick: - Wifi coverage at my hillside room was really spotty and disconnected frequently. - Shuttle service back to the resort could be more frequent. Hourly trips to the beach, but only 2-hourly trips back. - TV selection of english channels and reception are below expectations. - Bathroom door was hard to close. - Toothbrush and toothpaste had to be requested. - Aircon was set to a default 25C. Felt warmer than that, around 26C.

Great Relaxing Resort
