Lovely rooms and grounds, great place to relax by the pool. Isolated so hard to get out with kids.

Neutral
- arrival was a bit half hearted in terms of showing e.g. map of site etc. - didnt really want to discuss things to do/try on island, just referred on to in house agent (understandable but frustrating)
- site is massive, long walks to e.g. entrance, which is a pain, but also means you get a very private feeling in room
Cons
- staff too polite, would rather they were a bit more natural (friendly or not)
- for us as a family with small kids, it is very much a hotel for couples to laze by the pool - were a few other families, but we felt a bit awkward if the kids were loud, used the 2nd pool mainly due to this
- isolated - good to get away from it all, but hard to get out and about!
- drinks prices are excessive
- poor service in restaurant (for thai stds, would be o.k elsewhere)
