We arrived and were quickly shown to our room, we had booked a deluxe pool villa. The chairs had stains, the bathtub filled with dirty water, the air con was on constantly and could not be turned off and the jacuzzi tub did not work. The room was 5104. The location is good yet when we complained to management about the room they said they had upgraded us to this room implying we should be grateful, we had to show them we had booked this type of room. It took a full 48hrs for room to be sorted and were moved to 5102 which was much better and the outdoor shower was amazing. The breakfast at the hotel was very disorganised taking up to 30 minutes for poached eggs. Be warned Chinese tour parties use the hotel for breakfast stop off and your seats will be taken while you get food from the buffet. The receptionist struggles to understand english. The new room was much better and the price is still cheap compared to Europe but there are similar hotels close that are better.
