Great beach, old and simple room

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Thongtpan Resort. It is far away from everything, but for us it was a plus during crazy Full Moon Party days. And if you need to, you can always get a transfer there or to the port for 200 baht. A small nearby village (5 min walk from the hotel) offers a good selection of bars, cafés and stores. Luna lounge is amazing! As for the hotel, we had a sea-front superior bungalow and it was a bit rusty, but the location was great! You can hear the waves at night and the beach is right at your feet. Massage was nice, the restaurant ok and the beach was great! Note: no hair dryer even upon request.

Great location, poor staff & service
