bed bugs
our stay in this hotel was terrible.
- on arrival i noticed one of our drinking glasses was dirty so i asked reception for a replacement. the answer was we don't have others and it was rinsed but remained dirty!
- the owner is not obliging at all.
- while sleeping we felt we were being bitten. we got up to discover strange "bed bugs" in the sheets. squashed one and it was full of our blood. we stripped the bed and founds hundreds if not thousands of these creepy things. we resorted to sleeping on the floor! we mentioned this to the owner but by the look of it she was aware but not interested.
- to top all of this she demands a key deposit which she holds until she has checked the room. although there is essentially nothing wrong with this it was the way we were treated. as if we were thieves.
- the boat tour she arranged with her boat could hardly get to the destination as the engine was busy dying. i have no doubt these owners make no attempt to maintain their equipment.
i would seriously recommend agoda remove this establishment from their booking system. you will only need to check to see that this is not an isolated experience.
